ABOUT PROTIDES.com

This site was created in response to the popularity of the tides section on WashingtonFlyFishing.com with requests to include other areas. The requests were from a broad range of folks including the weather community, fishing community, diving community, shellfishing, beachcombing and whatever else you could find a use for while on the beach. It's tides site was built out of necessity to improve on what was available to ease the selection of desired times to fish at a glance over a months period and with increased specifics on a tabular view. Just happens the format works for everyone.

There will be simple ads on a left column to cover the server fees, but the ads are text based, formating is clean and a stand out header is omitted allowing for framed usage so sites can use their own headers and ads if you wish.

By the way, the "pro" in protides.com stands for "every other domain name was taken". Nothing further.  :-)

This sites tide prediction information is to be used at your own risk. These are tide predictions and do not take into account weather related impacts to the tides.

NOTE TO WEB ADMINS.

• If you have a website, feel free to link to ProTides.com how ever you like. To the main page, any of it's state / region specific station list pages or directly to a station pages.
  
  
• If you wish to have a page of your own with the direct links to the ProTides.com station pages on your site, copy the links as I have them listed so your don't have to rebuild them from scratch and then modify to suit your needs with regards to CSS, etc.
  
  
• No print for distrubution unless requested / approved by ProTides.com.

• Want to show off your photo? Email it to chris@protides.com. It just may make it on the front page. Photos must be horizontal and at least 600 pixels wide and 426 pixels tall.
